In order for us to effectively advocate for full equality in gender identity and gender expression for CT, we need to tell the stories of how transgender and gender non-conforming community members have been discriminated against. Please consider sharing your story with ctEQUALITY.

It is also helpful for us to tell stories of positive experiences. For this, we need YOUR story. If your gender identity or expression differs from the expectations of your employer, the general public, sales clerks, attendants, etc, you may have suffered discrimination at one time or another because of your gender. Or, you may have experienced help or support. Please, take a few minutes now to share your story with us, however great or small, so we can share it with those in a position to do something about equality  for transgender and gender non-conforming people in Conneticcut.
