Stuff That Did Not Make Me Trans

As with anything that is seen outside the "norm," I feel like often people who do not fully understand nonconformity try and pinpoint roots as to why people are the way we are. Needless to say, I was pumped when I found this blog criticizing people's need to find the "one cause" for differences.  There is no ONE cause. There was not the one event in our lives that dictate our identity for the rest of our lives.  I mean, that would have to be one EPIC event if that was the case. I find the mentality towards noncomforming people is detrimental to the ability of people expressing who they truely are.  Why is someone trangendered? In fact, why are any of us the way we are?  Because it is who we are, not who we were made into.  I can ramble on for pages about how I think finding a "root" is disrespectful of a person's being and creates an image of difference being deviant and problematic, but for now, go check out this cool new blog!
