My preferred gender pronouns are...She but He works too (haven't been called that in years)

The thing about gender identity is... that it is so basic and core and so culturally defined. I love that "kids today" are gender bending, exploring, experimenting and challenging all gender norms. I was part of "Women's Lib" in the 60's and 70's. We challenged sex and gender roles back then too (see old pic of me) and had a lot of fun with it....especially when we went out in public. We really blew a lot of minds!
Today, we might not get  a second look. That is progress.

I like to... watch & play sports, take photos, drink margaritas, hang with friends, travel, rv, facebook, go to movies and theatre, go to family reunions and parties, work at CWEALF.

I want people to understand...We are evolving, individually and globally. We have come a long way....and we have a long way to go but the progression is always forward. Confronting gender norms is a very important part of this process.

To me, equality means... no one is defined by isms. True freedom of personal expression can be realized and not blocked by individual or institutional bias. The only limits that exist for a person are the ones they place on themself.
